Midpoint Music Festival

September is a great time to be in the Nati.

Brian Kelly and his Bearcats are showing the country that UC Football is the real deal, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati was another wild time and this weekend marks one of Nati Evolvement's favorite events - the Midpoint Music Festival.

We've been honored to be involved with the festival in the past producing the festival's t-shirts, working on the Scion Streetcars or just hopping around venues listening to some fantastic tunes.

While we aren't specifically working on anything for this year's event we're certainly excited to attend and support this fantastic festival.

Be sure to get your three day wristband at http://www.mpmf.com/ and rock your Nati gear to one of the Midwest's premiere music events.

The secrets out...

We can finally give you a little more detail about our latest design project. You may recall our post about a new establishment in the Gateway Quarter a couple of weeks ago.

Check out this article in the Business Courier about our friend Daniel Wright and his vision for Senate.

MuralWorks

One of Cincinnati's most amazing summer programs is Muralworks, a collaboration between the city of Cincinnati and the non-profit, Artworks to install murals in various Cincinnati neighborhoods.

Two of the newest murals in our neck of the woods honor a pair of Cincinnati icons, Jim Tarbell and Samuel Hannaford.

The Tarbell mural is a quirky welcome to the ever-growing Gateway Quarter of Over-the-Rhine. Check out 5chw4r7z's post here for some pics

Just a few blocks north is the mural honoring the works of Samuel Hannaford and Emanuel's unique view of Washington Park. Visualingual has some pics and comments on the mural here.

While some have commented about the mural appearing on the south side of the building (on Race St. which is one way Southbound), keep in mind that the plans for the Washington Park garage call for 13th to be made two ways to accommodate a Race Street entrance to the underground garage.

In the meantime park-goers and pedestrians enjoy!

Tyler Nelson

You may have noticed the new addition to the sidebar featuring one of the stars from MTV's 'Taking the Stage,' Tyler Nelson.

We love supporting the people and projects that are making an impact around town and there's no doubt that the talented kids from 'Taking the Stage' are creating international interest in one of Cincinnati's treasures, the School for Creative and Performing Arts.

Be sure to check out Tyler's blog for exclusive content and an inside look at life at SCPA.
